Dear all Under 12 Families

We have had a wonderful start to the season and all boys are very committed to their rugby at Hunters Hill. We especially welcome our new players & families. We have been surprised with the number of new registrations for U12 this year and have our largest squad in many years.

That being said,we now have high numbers in our teams and we are conscious to ensure adequate game time for our boys.

With this in mind, we have investigated the opportunity to add another team to the competition. Drummoyne has pulled out of the 12s and we have taken their spot for the next 3 rounds (Friday/Sunday Comp that our Red side plays in).We may even be able to switch this to another Friday 0nly team before the draw for weeks 5 onwards comes through in late April/early May.

Therefore for the next 3 rounds:

This weekend (Rd2) : Blacks,Whites as per normal. Reds : a bye due to Drummoyne's unavailablilty. Don/Fred to advise you if they want a 10 a side game/training run/or weekend off .Boronia number 2 is booked just in case at 9.00am .We can always schedule a more formal game later in the season

Weekend 11th-14th April(Rd3): All teams as per normal. Additionally,I will coach a 'Blue' side to play Wahroonga at Wahroonga (Fri Night 11/4 at 8pm). It will be a composite side from Reds & Blacks and those rostered off from the White team who would like a run. Please let myself or your manager know if you'd like to play.

Weekend 2nd-4th May (Rd 4): Reds & Blacks as per the draw. White side has a bye in the draw so will play as the Blue side .

To go ahead with the new Blue team we will :
· Require a coach
· Require a manager
· Ask boys in the Reds & Whites if they want to be considered to change to the new team. Boys in the Black side will be nominated as transferable players to fill in where necessary/available.
· Ask boys if they have a mate that may like to join a team as we still have room for up to 6 more boys.
· Ask for boys that may consider being transferable between teams to help out if teams are short .

The creation of a 4th side,with more game time for boys,will be very difficult without these.
